Expedia invited us into the early stages of development as they explored a variety of micro-stories that slowly reveal the majesty of Canada. As part of their "See Yourself in Canada" campaign, the goal was to feature uniquely Canadian landscapes and culture in a subtle and relatable way; a way that allows viewers to truly picture themselves within the experience.
We travelled with AG1 from the white powder mountains of British Columbia to the lush waters of Japan to celebrate the people who show up when the world is at its quietest.
The film is narrated by legendary producer Rick Rubin, a longtime AG1 drinker who is known for his mindful daily practices. Everyone featured in the campaign—from Rick to athletes including Sloane Stephens (tennis), Mick Fanning (surfing), Hari Budha-Magar (mountain climbing), and Christina Lustenberge (skiing)—are genuine AG1 drinkers.
Made in partnership with GSD&M, we were first tasked with creating an anthem film and a series of :15s. We ultimately walked away with dozens of film and photo assets to give the campaign legs long after the initial broadcast run.
